Was on horde quite a bit today and I have to say, random bgs as alliance as just as bad as being on horde. Lost almost all day today but finally picked up a malv staff. When I was doing a Temple of superball, I saw at the start someone riding on the same golden dragon as me. Later this same player, which by the transmog I thought was a paladin, kneeling in the center as we were winning. Struck me as a little Tebow-odd and I noticed they were in a bright yellow transmog like myself, and further noticed they were from my server.

After we won, we both ended up in the horde pvp vendor area. I said something like “same bg, weird huh” but go no reply so I whispered that I liked his transmog. We got to talking a bit and did TB together where ally outnumbered us 5 to 2, and then did a winning EoTs. The name was Oromïs, who is actually a DK, who linked me his 2200 and 2400 2’s and 3’s achievements. He said he did TB a lot, which I have as well but I honestly do not remember him at all. Anyway the name, Oromis is apparently from some book I’ve never heard off. I think. Oddly enough a goggle search wasn’t terrible clear about it just browsing quick.

It would be lovely to make friends with someone who likes to pvp and isn’t awful.

Got my druid to 84 the other day, losing bgs pretty much all day. There was a warlock in one AB that was one shotting everyone. Good stuff.

I’m starting to really feel the lack of healers on my server. I don’t mind logging in and doing a dungeon, but when people ask me to heal additional raids I start to get a little annoyed. Lila asked me to heal a Relentless raid the other night, they needed a healer for Elegon and Will. I really wanted to level my druid but I said ok, but only one hour. If you can’t get 2 bosses in one hour, I’m cutting losses.

So I get summoned and the mage dc’s. We wait for him to get back. We pull, and people drop like flies on the orb phase. We wipe. The mage dc’s and doesn’t come back. They end the raid. Sigh. And mind you, I asked how far they got on the last attempt before their other healer quit and they said they got it to 5%.

Druid healing has been a lot of fun though, the mobility in pvp is so different from a priest it’s sweet as hell atm.

Totally Called It

As I had called it back in MV, Hotbrass quit the guild to go with Beta Testing and got 3/12 pretty much right away. But, good. I expected that. He talked a lot of elite stuff but often died to simple mechanics, random afk’d and even fell asleep last Tuesday during a raid. I sensed from pretty much the beginning he wanted to leave and find something better.

Dominate Mind

Just need bracers for full malv. I seem to be doing well on the priest, did some random bgs and such and my survivability seems nice. Dominate mind is also pretty sweet and fast cast though it seems to break almost instantly. Granted I was trying to use it on a bridge in AV with a rush of horde coming in, so I may have to also test it elsewhere. But oh, how I missed that skill.

Went back to WhisperWind

Moved my druid off Tich to WW and renamed her from Klickers to Coquette, which had been my monks name. Deleted the monk. I am adoring druid healing especially in pvp where I have nice utility and more importantly, escape skills. It feels nice to outrun warriors.

My priest seems pretty ok for pvp but I’ve been taking a bit of a break on that. I should get my full malv though.
