Mogu’shan Vaults

We raided Wednesday, and got the first boss in Mogu’shan Vaults down.  We made good progression on the second but at 12 we hadn’t gotten it and I voted to not do one try, I lost, we did one try, and that was it.

656ocyla

I missed Thursday completely since I had PRK laser surgery on my left eye that day, and totally didn’t want to be sitting in front of a computer. I guess they got Feng down that night though.

Wow, those numbers hurt my eyes!

Alyis, a few days ago, did another one-liner I’m going to attempt to draw again. Someone linked a melee dps ring from the black auction house and he said “Wow those numbers hurt my eyes!”

That struck me as crazy funny, and I’ll explain! Flask of the Winds, for example, increases your agility by 300. Flask of Spring Blossoms, is 1,000 agility. Why such a huge jump, more than double! Why??

Gems are similar, the top end EPIC gems in Cata gave 20/20 for split stats +50 to a single stat, the new ones now, THE BLUE ONES (not epic) give 80/160 for split stats and single stats are 160. With such a huge jump it’s more or less completely useless to use the old gems.

At the end of wrath, pulling 10k was a big deal. At the end of Cata we saw heavy hitters in A9N hitting 50-60k. In Mop? I’ve seen mages and monks hitting 100-150 freaking K on trash and stuff. Crazy.

Sealgaer

Sealgaer’s panda ended up going Alliance (Sealsauce) and I jumped on that and got him invited to guild. Iocane asked if all my recruits were prior horde and ahh, sorta. Nilvana was originally horde, Perf was, Ladiesman, that one priest who I cannot recall, etc. So, yeah a lot.

Kicked!

So! Got kicked from my first group ever! Ran that bug dungeon and heroic Vial of Ichorous Blood dropped, I needed on it and won. The healer, a druid, commented as the rolls were going on that it was a sick healing trinket. I said “I know, disc is my main, we need spirit severely”. I got told it was a dick move, I should have been here on my main then, and kicked. I saw that coming.

Other peoples rolls are hidden by default now, at least mine were, and at no time did the healer actually say “hey I need that, can I have it?”. But, whatever. It was 524 more INT than Heart of Unliving and well, I’m not doing all the math about the mp5 of it but it’s 4,421 spirit on use every 2 mins for 20 seconds vs at best, a constant 880 spirit. And like 60 ilevel difference.

So yeah, sorry dude, but strangers don’t owe you anything. I’ve been healer/healer for like 2 solid years, I don’t have to justify my need of something to a random.
