Remember weekly raids quests?

I then head back to Dalaran, and the weekly is Lord Jaraxxus, ugh.  It’s not terribly hard but it requires moderate raid coordination and requires downing Icehowl before getting to him, so sometimes it goes horribly wrong.

I transmute another gem and I should get them cut, since I’m up to  12 just on Ocyla and Silver has at least 5 too. I need 5 more honor to get my pvp staff.  I like the 2 handed weapons just because well, less bag space. And it’s priestly-er.

Anyway I get Strand of the Ancients and somehow, even being feared, stunned, sapped, silenced and basically rendered completely and utterly useless the entire fight, we win!  I go from 2545 honor to 2683 and have enough for my staff.

I run WG and we are attacking this time.  Apparently some people find it hard to communicate because the people on the west side are not telling anyone they are working on the walls, but when I say we’re working on center door, they then say they are on third and need help.  They repeatedly say this even when we are in the inner courtyard.  Dumb asses.  We win!

Later I run a WSG and we lose, though I stayed alive quite a significant amount of time, despite being cycloned and silenced repeatedly.

I ran my daily which is Nexus and I’m not sure who is tanking because everyone is taking considerable damage and taking turns pulling.  They then pull 2 of the lizard guys in the front with them into the end bosses room, plus the 2 already in there, and unfreeze the dragon.  I had to pop fing divine hymn to get us out of that.  Nonsnse!

I then ran a random bg and get EoTS, with the horde running in a solid pack throughout all the bases.  It looks like we may win for a while with someone directing but like usual we lose.  At one point I did chase off a boomkin who was trying to kill an afk shaman rather than me playing live.  So, I guess that was good.

Elleria the Mage

Server maintenance was extended today so I got logged in a bit late. I ran the Coren daily, though I thought it would have been removed. Can’t argue with free frosts and gold though! I ran Warsong Gulch (WSG) and Eye of the Storm (EotS) battlegrounds 2 and 1 time each then had to log out to do real life things!

I stop being a jerk, sometimes

Decided to pop on my mage and go out mining, though I did my fishing daily first, which launched the poison and recipe quests as well, lucky day!

When I go to turn in my fishing quest, I see a male blood elf PRIEST, probably the first one I’ve ever seen.  I must have made it obvious that I was looking at them because they wave to me, so I wave back and blow a kiss.

While I’m out mining I notice that when Orgims Hammer and the Skybreaker pass each other, they fire back and forth.

I spent some time killing their NPCs.

I run out of MP trying to kill this guy though, tried it three times and I’d run out of mp both times with about 10% hp left. Bummer.  I wonder if this guy is named after the Davos in the Song of Ice and Fire books since he’s on a boat and all.

I stop being a jerk, since no horde are coming to defend, and head back to mining.  Afterwards I head back to Dal, clean up some bags and realize I have TWO full bags just of old gear.  Eeesh.  I need to do something about that.  I smelt the saronite to send to Ocyla to transmute, then queue up for WG. It tells me to wait. Sigh.  I do not get in.

I then head to Stormwind to check out the new gear vendors. Yes, this stuff is way better than my epic gear is now.  Too bad it requires level 85. Damn.  Going back to wearing blues will be humbling.

I put in for a Character Recustomization to have my name changed to Elleria, which took me like 4 days to come up with since everything else I could think of was already taken.

I run WSG and we lose, I end up with 7 killing blows, 41 HK’s and 49 whole honor. I also get the Not In My House achievement.

Later I run WG and, I’m sorry, but what the fuck?  The horde gets like 5 vehicles in the first 5 minutes, rolls through the keep and wins it in under 7 minutes.  How the hell do they get vehicles so fast?  And I’m not talking catas, they had a demo rolling out within the first 3 mins of it starting, HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?  They had 2 sieges and another demo (because I broke the first) within 2 mins of that.  When we’re attacking in WG I can’t rank up fast enough to get anything but a cata.

Of course since there were no alliance at the keep other than 1 other and myself, who knows, it may have been a bunch of horde alts farming HK’s.  I’m mad.  We only had 6 people this raid, at prime time, that’s sad.  I logged out pretty ticked.

Glad I have fishing on one character

I log in and do my Dalaran fishing daily, then head to SW and made 5g, then 10g porting people.  All I really have to do is stand around and people ask.  I am not asking for tips, they are just doing it.

I go run the new Stormwind cooking daily, A Fisherman’s Feast and lucky for me I already have fishing.

7 gold 40 silver, Alliance rep and a chefs award. I pick up the new flight paths at Goldshire and Eastvale Logging Camp, then see WG is up and queue for it. I get in with 2 minutes to spare and still able to help kill a siege on our steps, several horde, then solo a hunter, unfortunately needing to pop mirrors and finish him off.

Disarmed

I log in and say hello to Brd, and do my fishing daily which is Disarmed again.  I also fish up a Rusty Prison Key which I use in this chest in the water

I open the chest and receive Chain Gain Leggings (Blizzard, have I told you I love you recently?), Potion of Wild Magic, Pungent Seal Whey, Crude Eating Utensils, and Water Soaked Letter. Here is the letter, for fun

I waited for it to respawn since I had 2 of these keys and this time earned a Prison Manifest, Potion of Speed, Water Soaked Letter, and Crude Eating Utensils again and another bottle of moonshine.

I get in a WG battle and start out as Arcane, but my survivability and skill flexibility makes me unhappy and I switch back to frost.  I do a lot of Ice Lance spamming since it allows me to run, SPAMMING IT, to catch up to sieges and continue to do damage while still moving.

I die at least twice to a horde be paladin named Xiv around Sunken but unfortunately most of that was due to video lag, running into horde before they faded in on my screen.  Oh well.  I get him back later on a few times, as well as another BD paladin named Safety. I blow kisses both times.

They only manage to breach east and we win when the towers go down near the end. Unfortunately for the attackers, low numbers means you either have everyone in a vehicle with no on foot defenders, or you have a few vehicles with defenders, which can still be taken out fairly easily.  You need a sizable force to properly defend a vehicle since you have to shut down people like me willing to suicide just to break it up.
