I love when we get ragers who quit the match, and then we go on to win. I guess we know who was the problem right? In the case of this guy, he rage-quit, and then we won. I’ve seen it happen more than a few times.
I also phased into a losing match where at least 2 other people had quit, and grabbed D.va just to get on point quick. Not only did we win, but I won, HARD.
I wonder how good the ragers really think they are.

But he won’t move until there are three people! What the heck?
This may take a while. It was so fun I wanted to go on all of them, but standing around for 40 minutes waiting for 3 people made that impossible.
I mean, it’s bad enough they can destroy you in half a second, heal like they have unlimited Lay on Hands, but now they can get to places no one else can reach. It’s getting really obnoxious. They can jump down, give you a wack, then leap right back up on the top. NPCs can’t even reach them.
I realize that dps and healers, are not the same thing. I am however, having way, WAY more fun playing a fire mage than any of my healers. I feel it has to do with the skill set.
For instance, a warrior recently destroyed a good 80% of my health before I could blink (my eyeballs, not the skill blink!) as my mage. I still won the fight, though. Here’s the thing. If a warrior hits my priest, I can pain sup. It pretty much sucks but I can. I have no escape abilities any more but ok let’s say I knock him away a bit with scream. I have 1 min before I can use that again. He gets out of that and I knock him away again with that one skill. Wellp, out of tricks. GG.
Same situation with my mage. Warrior hits me, I can temporal shield. He rushes me, I frost nova. He rushes me again, I nova again. I ice block. I blink, I blink again, I drop mirrors, I dragon’s breath. I sheep. I can try to inviz. Almost everything is instant cast so if I get locked out, which doesn’t happen much, that’s ok I can switch schools. Can still blink, ice block, frost nova, etc while locked out of fire.
As my disc priest I use to have shadow, holy, and divine schools but now it’s basically just HOLY. Have fun with that.
Tell me again why I’d want to play heals?
For the first time in … ever? I haven’t felt like healing. I don’t know what it is, exactly. Farming honor and AP is one thing, I suppose, and gear, but the amount of pressure on healers in pvp isn’t the type of challenge I’m looking for. I like a good fight but getting destroyed in half a second isn’t it.
That being said, fire mage is a lot of fun. I haven’t main’d a mage since early Wrath but, I’m really enjoying it. The rotation is dynamic enough with good options for AOE and single target. My mains for this expansion may end up being mage and priest.
