The Things I Lost

Apparently there is no more World Defense channel, so I have no way of rushing to areas being attacked, which is something I loved to do.  Sadface.

Wintergrasp and Tol Barad are no longer on the queue list.  You can’t see when the next battle is without going to that zone.  Another thing I can tick off my list that I can’t do.

There is no more Call to Arms for battlegrounds.  No more looking at the list and spam queuing for one you know a lot of other people will be doing.

This update was supposed to bring in soloable raids, I just thought it would be easier than it was.  I got up to Spine in Dragon Soul but died to Morchok more than a few times because his stomp was taking half of my health, even if I ran away and blinked as it was coming.

Warlords of Draenor

First impressions.  Not impressed. It started off poorly by logging in where I logged out, high above Halaa.  I faceplanted and died, thanks to a bug where you lose flight form when logging in.

Then I ran into a feral druid, who made quick work of me, 2 times.  I couldn’t outheal it, nor outrun them.  Good times.

So the model updates, then.

My pretty mage, is now ugly.

Draenei seems, acceptable.  My hair and boobs both appear to be deflated though. Hard to tell when I side by side it though.

Also solo’d Alysrazor 10m on heroic, no problem.

That Ugly Drake!

Today I finally finished Glory of the Dragon Soul Raider.  I would have gotten it some years back, but the achievement for the airship was bugged or something.

I wasn’t going to do it at all either.  The first 4 bosses were down, the person inviting didn’t mention that. One hunter randomly dropped after the airship.  I lost power but amazingly didn’t get kicked, and was able to come back in, ask them to wipe (since one of them was dead anyway) and got a Deathwing kill besides all that.

Now I have the ugly drake!

DragonSoul is Not to Be

I wanted the Deep Earth set for my pve transmog, but trying anything on a monday is a horrible idea.  The first one we wiped on Morchok 2 times on 25m heroic and I was the only healer.  Then a priest went disc and did 10% of the healing.  I left that when it was clear everyone was undergeared, even for DS and not going anywhere.

Then I got in on a normal 25m spine run hoping to at least get in a group that made some progress.  Nope.  Wiped twice and left.

Wasn’t even worth it, clearly didn’t know what they were doing, and no one seemed to care one of the warriors didn’t seem remotely interested in getting to the raid.  Oh well.  Maybe tomorrow.
