I can just TELL

Today we invited a hunter named Awesomehuntr.  And I hate to sound like an ass (not really) but with a name like that, you can pretty much tell they are going to be pretty dumb.

So anyway I asked in guild if anyone wants to do bgs, he whispers me saying he’s almost out of his.  Alright, so I pick him up, get Barn, and Barn gets some other people.  We win like, 4 in a row, I think, before people start dropping.  As per my thing I check his gear.  Green trinket, 6 pieces of pve gear, 7 missing enchants, 4 missing gems, Grievous bow.

We talk about how his other guild was doing arena with him but stopped.  I asked if they lost  a lot and he said sorta.  What really killed me though was, I said he need to work on getting his Prideful bow this late in the season and he said nah.  He wants to get the other gear first.  I said no no, TRUST ME, you want to get the bow asap.  It got to the point where I said he wasn’t making sense not going for the weapon first.  He told me it does “make sence” and he thinks the gear first is better.  I even linked my bow and he wasn’t having it.  Some people are just dumb.  He then admitted he doesn’t do arena because no one wants to (no kidding) and never wins bgs.  Gee, wonder why.

I ran into Moterhead in Thrallmar tonight though, and killed him.  I had to look at my posts from a bit ago when I was killing him in Halaa.

And we tell this BG, NOT TODAY!

For some reason, I got Twin Peaks 3 times in a freaking row today.  The first one I waited EIGHTEEN MINUTES to get into.  At first I thought it would be a loss, the other team had 2 warlocks (fears) 2 holy priests (more fears) and a resto shaman.  But I said “NOT TODAY” and pushed buttons very hard and clicked very fast and we won.

I wasn’t having a loss after 18 minutes.  Nope nope nope.

Now it makes more sense

Sometimes I wonder why people, either in pvp, or pve, seem to do SO poorly.  Usually I start with looking at gear, or rotation.  Beyond that, if I have to ask about add ons, keybinding or clicking, it’s really too much work to bother. I tried that with Bella long ago, it didn’t help.

Anyway, there’s a mage I knew who was always really bad, like I could thrash them in a duel on a healer class, and in bgs or rbgs, they usually had piss-poor dps and such.   Now, I just think it’s general awareness.  We duo’d a dungeon and man.  They were attacking mobs I had sapped in advance, not noticing a mob I had sapped 2-3 times that was still chilling there giving me the evil eye.  I’d say to run past the pathing mobs, they would kill them all, that kind of thing.  Not really a big deal but it feels like a bull in a china shop.  Apply that to pvp or a raid and it’s even worse.

Entire Team, no HK’s

Ouch.  Just look at it, LOOK AT IT!

So hm yeah.  Did my cata dungeons on my monk, and I forgot how cool some of them were.  I hated Halls of Origination when it first came out, because healing it was pretty hard and it seemed to last forever.  But now it was much easier and I actually had time to look around.
