I swear I was following Barn around on Mal’ganis, killing Alliance, when he just vanished and what I think was a Crane shrine showed up. I clicked on it, got thrown high into the air, sprouted wings and got to randomly open chests. Weird! Very Super Mario 3.
And this tank just cracked me up. Too bad despite this bit of good advice, I got “squozen” super fast and died.
I only had one more achievement to finish off the Children’s Week achievements, but frankly the last one is bogus. Get all three pets, on a single character. You can only get one pet, per year. So this takes 3 years? Wonderful. I checked all my characters and I apparently never did it any other year.
Finally figured out how to cap the graveyard in Zangarmarsh. Yeah. I didn’t play in BC and never looked it up before.
You get a flag from your town in the area and have to run it over to cap it.
This is also the first time I’ve ever run the cart in Deepwind Gorge.
Now that in itself was not weird, but that battle was. I ran to center, NO ALLIANCE.
Ran to their base. NO ALLIANCE. Ran the cart all the way back to our base, NO ALLIANCE. It was eerie. I think I saw maybe 2 the entire time, and I ran the cart 3 times. Very weird.
So I’m a Kotmogu, clicking on everyone like usual and I see a warrior with 309k health, so I inspect him. Then I get this. I mean, really?
It’s been a nerdy week! As I’ve been leveling my monk, I’ve run into a few people that have prompted nerdy comments by me. First we had this guy who loves Wreck it Ralph:
with his fiance, Bobsburgers. Great name for a warrior, btw.
Then I did another with Atma, which I asked if it was after the Atma Weapon from FInal Fantasy 3. Ocyla happens to have been in love with that game ages ago, and went by the name “Atma3” back in the AOL days. Just saying.
He wasn’t aware of that boss or the game, though.
I did some randoms last night with Suchbarn, a warlock named Vado and some other people. I really only remember the ones I see a lot like Zim the rogue. Anyway after doing my usual healing I guess the warlock was impressed and asked if they picked me up in the 2300 rbg group.
I wish.
