This is pvp related but UGH my server sometimes. Picked up with an old arena partner from some time ago, he wasn’t that good but didn’t rage and gave it a good shot and that’s all I can really expect on my pve server usually.

He’d been away from the game for a while and wanted to do area again. We do a few Bgs and I notice he’s getting wrecked pretty quickly, and has about the same health as me. I take a look at his gear, 7 missing enchants, no pvp trinkets, several pve heroic blues, etc. I tell him he needs to replace all that crap with pvp gear. He’s like yeah soon as I get some arena in I will. I’m like yeah no, you need to replace that shit, with pvp gear. You are dying way too fast, you need the resil and pvp power.

He tells me STR/CRIT are important and that the heroic PVE blues are better than the pvp gear. Sigh. I’d been through this before, trying to do arena with a dps in epic raid gear and they get DROPPED. Not interested in doing it again.

Nice people can be bad.

“But he/she is nice”. I’m hearing that a lot. Today it was in relation to that horde warlock, Gabrielle, who is really bad. The light forbid you say someone is bad and hear “I have them on real id”. Yeah well, they still suck, I’m sorry. This warlock shows up in TB and WG quite a bit, and every last time I’ve seen them, they just get pwned and do next to no damage or CCing on the other player. Like real bad. Today I showed up in pve gear when I phased into WG. I was taking mild damage while still getting my bearings and looking around at why the hell I was getting hurt. It was that warlock, doing barely jack to me.

And for the record, yes, I’m a terrible mage. TERRIBLE.

Anyway Anni has her on real id I guess. Then I got to hear, she pvps for the fun of it, not someone who bases how good of a person they are if they can beat you. What? You can be a good person, but suck ass at pvp. Then I heard “i hate people who think they are hot shit since they are good at pvp, in a video game”. If you are good you are good, what subject matter you are good at doesn’t matter much to me.

I admire the good pvpers, there are plenty that are douchebags. I don’t speak with them but I admire what they can do. I find horrible pvpers a waste of time and I fail to see how it’s fun to just get the floor wiped with you. I play to have fun, but I do my best to DO my best. Oh well.

We have a similar issue with Dor healing in our raid. Nice guy, can’t keep a tank alive in Heroic Stoneguard. I don’t want to wipe and or fail all night because of it.

Temple of Superball

Won the Temple of SuperBalls like 10x in a row today, was crazy! I haven’t seen Rinni on in a while so no arena, and I’d like to start healing arena anyway. I don’t really care to be shadow much. Got revered with Golden Lotus today, got my epic shoulders and the epic achievement, FINALLY. I’m wearing so much rep gear it’s not even funny.

Hm I have a lot of screenshots to catch up on. I finally found the island that has the “Up” house on it, complete with grummie “asian kid”.

I ran into an epic 40 man botter in AV last week too. Yes, BOTTER. You can’t run 40 characters in unison dual boxing. That shit is BOTTING.

Terrace of Endless Spring is available now, and this week for once I got lucky and picked up a new ring, used a luck token, won the same ring, then won the AWESOME healing trinket Spirits of the Sun. I had a feeling I’d win that after Angey linked it.

These fights are quite fun in LFR too.

Golden lotus, after the recent patch, have a chance to be picked from random herbs. But I’ve only see one like that so far.

I had to find 2 paragons for Klaxxi stuff before I got the epic ring and gosh, it took forever I swear.

And the Empress, is serious bidness apparently. She “scathed” this guy HARD.

This was fixed in the last patch, but when the Relic of Chi-ji was proc’ing, it was turning all spell effects whiter. It was super obnoxious on pallies LoD. It only made my wings more white and my DA bubbles a little more noticeable.

Did a bunch of question after I got exalted with Klaxxi too, one involved me rolling around in a barrel killing things, that was kind of different.

Hm let’s see. We got Elegon this week, and the Vizier! Disc has been buffed and I’m loving it in PVE atm. I really enjoy the playstyle. I also use a token to win bracers I sorely needed, and I won the healing mace, Tihan, Scepter of the Sleeping Emperor. Was replacing gear left and right this week, finally!
