Tharus beat my ass

I moved my shaman into Relentless, which was my first ever guild, since I have a permanent spot with them DS 10 raiding now and I know people would not rather give gear to a “pug”.  We did the first 2 bosses ok and I won a new necklace, but the third we had bad healing problems.  The priests top heal was flash heal, and I focused them one fight and that’s all I saw going off during tank healing, and I assume shields in between.  We had a talk afterwards where I suggested talent and reforge changes, and I guess we’ll have to wait until the next raid to talk about healing rotation more and skill usage. They were only putting out around 12k heals as it was, and the grouping up damage parts we were failing something fierce on. I was doing around 22k.

Anyway I did 2’s with the hunter again and it went a little better this time.  I ran into Tharus during one match, with a rshaman.  He beat my ASS too, it was kind of funny.  Now I know what Ladiesman was talking about when he says he sometimes loses by underestimating a player.  That’s exactly what I did.  I then got asked by

Leudraenei (I’m sure I spelled that wrong) to do RBGs with Ilikeanimals, but when they kept spamming for a resto shaman I said I had one with 4569 resil and switched to that instead.

We won 1, lost 2.  Both losses from pretty stupid mistakes.  The first loss I take responsibility for, though I still honestly have no idea how it happened.  We were in Twin Peaks in the alliance base (as horde) and I was nowhere near where the flag was, I was across the room near the back, and I noticed I had the flag.  I have no idea how I picked it up, so confused I ran out of the base and tried to drop it only I didn’t have the flag buff icon. In my panic rather than running away and trying to mount up to drop it, I just stood there unclicking every buff I had right and left clicking every buff and debuff trying to drop it for someone else while everyone in vent told me to drop it, got pwned and they returned the flag. I felt amazingly stupid but I really have no idea how I even picked it up to begin with.

The second loss was mostly because our FC, for no particular reason, left where he had two healers, myself included, guarding him, LoS’d us behind the wall and promptly died.

Rogue Names

I don’t know what it is about rogues but they tend to have amusing names, at least in my opinion. We had that rogue way back in Wrath in WG named Issues with the title “Major”, then last night I ran a bunch of bgs and found a “imgentle’ and ‘nicenslow’. Ladiesman says that’s because they do it from “the back”. That’s a bonus, I suppose!

Ah, old LFR loot methods

Ran LFR first four on my shaman and won both shoulder tokens on Hagara. Since I purposely went with Acks because we’re on the same token I gave him the shoulders and gave the shaman from Ragnaros (Anklove) the extra since they were one of the few that stuck around after I said in raid that I “don’t need two” immediately after the loot dropped. I had hoped to trade with the warrior that won both chest and helm but they left raid with a quickness. Oh well.

Loot Ninjas

I really must remember that Bloodyslayer/kmasgtfo has a healer named DivineFaith.

Anyway ran BH on all three characters today and either nothing dropped I could roll on (priest/shaman) or I lost every roll (mage). Spent some time harassing Qeet, who I mentioned some time ago in this thread, who is a known ninja looter, while in TB.

After 3 tries we won TB that day and he was forming a raid, and I specifically did a /1 383 Rshaman lf a non-qeet BH.  He claims he only ninjas mounts.  I did not even lose the mount back then in VOA, I just hate ninjas with the fire of 1,000 suns.

Do we know this fight?

Was scheduled to do Rag last night with Relentless but we couldn’t even get to the last phase and didn’t make it past the first seed, come to think of it. People clearly did not know the fight, and I realize not everyone does it the same but I felt they were over complicating it. They had the DK tank on the left where the melee normally stand, and Cinor was sort of right of the center. People frequently got hit by the flame waves and traps were hit with what seemed to be no regard to what the tanks health was at the time. They marked a spot in near Rag to stack on after the seeds dropped, then wanted people to move to the back afterwards. This was overly complicated and I suggested just standing to the sides like my team use to do then stacking in the front. However this also did not work since people frequently stacked too early and dropped their seeds on… the stack point, wiping it. So was just a waste of time really.

Did 6/8 LFR today and finally won a shoulder token. I am breaking my 4pc set already and I will sorely miss my little Cauterizing Flame 4pc bonus. It was just cool. I have DS 10 tonight with Relentless so I’ll hold off buying any VP stuff on the off chance I win a drop.
