It’s true, I am somewhat god-like.
And I just noticed this on the Shrine of the Seven Stars, I want this on a shirt!
Ashran is pretty toxic, I swear it’s probably worse than the worst bg I’ve ever been in.
me: Oh wow, an hour queue to get into a group of 4 people?
player: STFU and stop QQ
player: Are you new to this game?
Me: No why
player: you have no arena rating, you must be brand new
Players: bunch of baddies in here, probably don’t even have 1200 arena rating!!
Player 1: Amazing heals Coquette/Mistmedic!
Me: Hey thanks!
Player 2: Oh please, they suck, I never got a heal, they are trash. They have less healing than the DK.
Our healers suck, they are garbage, wish we could kick them, what on earth are the healers doing, bunch of baddies, I never get heals, ever, you guys suck.
And heaven forbid someone gets the AA, the toxicity rains down from the skies in a never ending torrent.
DK gets it: Noooo not melee, the DK is undergeared!! (has half CP gear) omg baddie give it to a ranged, everyone report the DK for cheating, report him report him!!!
Hunter gets it: Omg hunter such a baddie, he’s not doing anything, he’s not even with the group (he was), GIVE IT TO SOMEONE WHO ISN’T BAD OMG
Hunter gets it and tries to avoid dying to 40 horde but can’t: Stupid hunter, lost the AA, so bad, kick the hunter, report as cheating, report afk!!
Basically if any healer gets it, melee, anyone not with the best gear, or barely any arena rating, isn’t with the group for a second, happened to get mirked by horde, oh boy you are in for a rough time.
Makes me want to stay out in the nice, peaceful world.
A warrior by the name of Greengable contacted my monk the other day
They didn’t know what Disney rules meant. I had to run outside during this because someone knocked on the door. This leads me to my first pet peev.
1) People that assume the negative because you didn’t immediate respond.
No, it’s not a “no” because I didn’t answer you instantly. But it could end up that way. I had a bad feeling about it but I accepted anyway, because sometimes I’m curious like that.
Later that day I logged in and queued right away for Ashran. A DK named Satage asked if I was a healer. Yep. I get asked to join their raid group. They throw an invite. I don’t like that; don’t send me an invite without getting a yes from me. I let it hang there and ask ” a raid for what?”
Quorra, who I’m taking a wild guess might be the parent to Satage, says they are getting new 100’s gear in High Maul, normal. Ew. I tell them I’m in a queue for Ashran. Satage replies “get out”.
Haha, excuse me? 2)
People (read: children) who want you to drop whatever you are doing, to do what THEY are doing, nope.
I was already promoted to “8 Get’n 2 no U”, apparently ranks are given by being helpful. Yeah I don’t care about ranks. They just strike me as odd. One of them asked for a dungeon run, and I replied “I’m in Ashran” and they said “thanks for letting me know”. It’s polite and all that… it’s just a weird polite. The DK also ending up failing the raid about 20 minutes in, and started saying he was crying and raging about it, crying about his dps, his gear, didn’t understand gems and enchants, and basically being emo as hell. Yeah this is going to be awesome.
I actually got into an Ashran yesterday, and ran into Mistwidget.
It was us two (heals), a severely undergeared and clueless DK, another DK tank, and a fifth-seventh slots which kept leaving constantly when they saw we weren’t winning. Horde was ROLLING us. We couldn’t counter their group of entirely rogues and ferals. The decent DK raged out calling us the WORST ASHRAN PLAYERS EVER and then I got treated to this little bit:
So yeah, we have our fail groups too.
Then as it happens, I got into a Hydra premade Ashran a few days ago. I tried to tell my group it was a premade but got a lot of “you can’t premade you idiot” and “STFU” and “you’ve been muted Coquette”. Uh huh. Then I got the flying book, got the relic for us, and everything turned around.
Sure, NOW I’m awesome. Whatever. The amount of raging I get for healing or trying to explain things in Ashran is staggering.
Oh and had to get this guy before taking invite!
And, ROFL.
So this DK, randomly spits on me at the start of a SoTA.
Then he swaps appearance with me and tells me now he’s ugly. Uh, ok?
In the same battle we had a druid not only with rez sickness, but with all broken gear. He went from 60k hp to around 200k after the sickness wore off. He was from Moonguard so I harassed him pretty much endlessly about coming into a bg like that. We still won, though.
Then I randomly ran into Caithis, who I’ve done the AV battles with, in another Strand.
Another btag add (Gimmung).
