The PVE gear has been rolling in! I earned warforged bracers from Ordos, I believe it was, a ring, robe, cloak, and BOA mace from our SoO run last night. We got down Garrosh fairly easily as well. Earned the Strike! achievement.

2 Trinkets 1 Night
I did flex tonight with Time Lords and wow. I got TWO trinkets tonight. Prismatic Prison of Pride (say that 3 times… ) and Nazgrim’s Burnished Insignia. What with my love of trinkets and all, this is some crazy, insane, luck!
I also have a 2 piece T… 15? or whatever it is now.
PVE healing still bores me to tears though. What do you mean, nothing is trying to directly kill me, what gives? No arrows in the ass, no rogue shadow-stepping me, nothing?
There are technically rogues in that wing but it’s not the same.
I orginally wanted to dps on Ocyla for this raid, but like most everything, no one ever wants to heal. But that’s ok because TWO TRINKETS!! Time to work on some VP!
Oh and shamans seems a little ridiculous when Healing Stream Totem is their #2 heal. Really? Geez.
Battle Kitty Button Bloat
I geared out my feral spec in full prideful (4th set so far this season, ugh!) and I’m trying to learn the rotation. The problem I’m having currently is massive button bloat.
Usually I work a class around what I spam hit, what I use on a proc, what I use while moving, have to use while stopped, hit often but not too much, hit infrequently etc but currently that doesn’t seem to work with a druid. It seems like it’s lots of buttons that are hit not all the time but rather often. I haven’t figured out a system yet.
And this is coming from a resto druid who totally shifts into kitty form, stealths, pounces, mains, mangles, rakes, etc. It’s like all that plus 30 more things. I’m having a hard time.
Found out Deterrence, that annoying Alliance hunter, renamed to Predator – Kaelt’has and got them added to btags. Also added an alliance monk who also has a mage (Zenira – Echo Isles). Finally, I’m meeting good Alliance pvpers.
Wellp. Alliance and dead frogs
Playing either solo queue, or with a group as Alliance has not changed that I recall when I first started tearing my hair out about it some years back. It’s still pretty horrible with probably a good 60% if not more in losses. Or in this game, a tie.
I think the game knows I’m working on a feral set, so has granted me nothing but crushing losses the last 3 days, and even a loss or two in AV. The other players in a losing EotS were screaming that it was the healers fault, but sorting by damage and seeing the top 10 players all be horde, well ok.
In other news, Deadfrog is now a GNOME and on Emerald Dream! huh! We shall evil priest the world together!
NERF FERAL
That druid in WG, ugh. Otnealy. I can’t kill him, just can’t. I heard almost nothing can kill a good feral and I see why. I got him down to perhaps 20% and he just healed to full like he had a LoH. Ugh. Frustrating.
Did some raids tonight with Time Lords and picked up the heroic mace from the Lich King, it’ll look nice with a mostly white set.
Also spend some time in Darkshire, since someone was spamming attacks like crazy. Ended up killing Adacel, that warlock a couple of times, then a rogue showed up. I believe I died once, got them a few more times with some other alliance. But then Dedd, who was also in Evil Heart, showed up on his mage and thrashed me pretty good.
Later we moved out to Westfall in Moonbrook and a monk joined. Apparently it was a “kill Coquette party” as they called it and called me a traitor. I went in vent to talk a bit though. Ocyla, my priest, who I was playing has never been horde so there’s no traitoring going on exactly. I grouped with 2 other ally and we beat them in a fair 3v3 but, as Alliance do, they left soon after. I was left with me vs 3 and commented “and that’s how you get ants”.
It was overall a pretty busy day for wpvp. I killed Eklipz, that awful rogue in Hellfire, and he came back with a DK, and a warlock, and tried to kill me while I was mostly afk in the air a bunch of times. Busy busy day!
