brrrr!  Then Iocane tells me, on that quest you kill 8 of them and a BIGGER ONE shows up.  I shivered IRL, not joking.  Rav said they looked lke “oni” which I had to look up.  Fing creepy ginger mobs.

And, the wind serpents are beautiful, I wants one.

Later on I catch up to Anduin who they call the “white pawn” and apparently he’s full on priest, since you see him use PW shield, and at one point he mind controls Sully.  That’s… kind of awesome.

AOE Looting!

So!  Thus far in the new update we can already tell things are going to go better than they did with Cata. I haven’t done any mining yet, but it’s easy enough to get herbs (in cata if you weren’t standing on a node, you didn’t get it, and 2-5 people were pouncing on it the second it spawned).  The cloth drops are reasonable enough to get a stack or two during play time.  In Cata you were lucky to get 5 cloths in hours.

The AOE looting, which we’ve had since patch 5.0, IS AWESOME.  Being able to get all the loot from mobs in a range is just fantastic.  It also seems you learn new alchemy skills by making pots/flasks rather than ranking up everything at a trainer.  I haven’t touched my mages/shamans skills yet.

The quests now give gear based on your class/spec, it appears.  So no more Cata nonsense where you did 10 quests in a row and only got plate or mail options.  Every quest so far has given me items I could specifically use.  This is pretty awesome. SO! On to the quest images!

At one point you blow up a horde ship, and they all are swimming to shore to not drown, and that awesome night elf rogue fellow says to shoot them down like dogs! GOOD FOR HIM! XD

The two dungeons I ran were pretty fun, not that hard (not heroics) but funny and fun to do.  We couldn’t get a tank to come with us, so we had a pug one this time I went with Onenightstab, Perfide, and Angeycakes, and he was ilevel 376 with 4 377 pvp pieces.  The guy was a little hard to heal.

Finished my last few Netherwing dailies today and with 1200 rep to go, I decided to just farm some eggs.  Bothered a bit by a priest in my guild who kept asking for help with quests, I got On Wings of Nether after turning in 4 eggs I scrounged up, got to see the little RPing event

and picked the violet protodrake, Voranaku, as my mount.

I also went back and bought every single Netherwing I could.  The quests were good but gosh I was tired of them.  I’m seeing Netherwing eggs on everyones heads now.

Work is Poop!

Out in Netherwing areas these days trying to finally get Exalted.  These guys, just made me LAUGH!  And made me think of my own job…

though you end up finding out that the murkblood are trying to assist the Netherwing, and at one point one of their foremen gives you his hand just to help you out. The spell is calling “giving the hand” I believe.  I give up LOOKING for eggs though, if I happen to find one, great, otherwise looking is annoying.

I also did the Skyshatter races, and man I’m glad you can’t get knocked off your mount any more when they throw stuff at you.  I got hit a few times and lost once, but I have cheater can’t get knocked off abilities now so clearly easier.

Blood elf Minions

I wanted a new staff transmog so I went out to Shadowmoon Valley to get a quest version rather than pay the 18k someone wanted for the Exodar Life Staff.

First, gosh I love this spell. Blood elves are my minions, yay! lol

I went and did FL tonight only because I wanted to get Exalted with the Avengers of Hyjal FINALLY.  I picked up the 391 rep ring, and got heroic Jaws of Defeat. I was still using regular jaws so I equipped that, I like macroing it with PI.

I also took Alys’s Razor for transmog (my shaman has that it’s awesome) and Mantle of Closed doors.

Everything went fairly well this time although I still think our druid, I really  don’t know what they are doing sometimes.  We had that one incident of them not dpsing or healing AT ALL during Majordomo once, and this time I noticed they avoided a fire cat leap by going into travel form.  I thought oh good, they avoided that, but… then he stayed in cat form.  The entire cat phase.  He just ran back and forth like waiting for another jump and I saw no heals going off. I don’t get that guy.

Before we got  Rag down and I suggested that we please, please have the tanks stand together like we use to do in A9N.  For some reason in Relentless they were standing so far apart you had to move to hit both with heals and it was just annoying.
