That drake is ugly

Ran some bgs and twice got into Arathi with a rogue named Professional (Silvermoon) who helped me defend mines. We lost one badly and won the next.  I dislike announcing repeatedly that I will help heal at stables, people cap and then all run off.

I saw this mount today which I understand drops off Madness.

Obviously it’s a reskinned drake and it just looks… awkward a bit. The horns are the size of its entire head.

Ladiesman said he would not be able to run 2’s again this week, soooo.  Ran 2’s with Ultrabomber but we did poorly and I dropped from 1603 to 1546.  Well, I won’t say *I* did poorly, because I didn’t.  One match he died because he was in a smoke bomb and I could not heal, another time he ran past a smoke bomb and clipped an edge of it so I was unable to throw a heal or two because of smoke bomb LoS, another fight against a DK and a resto shaman I couldn’t do anything more than tank the both of them and put all my skills into me NOT dying.  Then the last fight against a feral and a holy pally, it went on and on again with me only able to burn the holy pally occasionally because there was far too much pressure on me. I had no chance to burn the other pally, much less Mind Control, and any time they switched to my partner he dropped like a rock requiring all my attention on healing.  He ended up rage quitting that fight after about, 15 minutes, I think, and I went on to survive those 2 players solo another 5 minutes or so.  I don’t appreciate being ditched like that.

Ran the last half of LFR on my priest and won nothing.  It seems people win in streaks; a holy priest won both the pants token and the healing Ledger off hand.  Then ran a random and got a bag with the White Polar Bear.

Can’t handle CC?

I told Relentless I would heal for them last night, since my team isn’t doing MV any more. I think that will be the only time I will do it though.

First I was there prior to 8 but they had another healer coming, so I told Warbomb I’d do arena with him. After the first win, Lila asked me to come heal. We did another win against a rdruid and rogue, and I raged a little bit when I was stuck in a 15+ second CD chain. We still won but it annoys me that things like that can even happen. If I remember right I was cycloned for like 6 seconds, then a kidney, then a cyclone, then a stun of some sort. 6+4+5 (ish) of being completely locked down with my trinket not available. So as I said, we won.

I told him I wasn’t feeling arena right now (I was a little ticked that the first battle with 2 DKs, he let one of them run around with 20% health for a good minute or so). He then said things like “so you can’t handle chain CC huh?” and “what am I supposed to do with a partner who can’t handle CC?”. I snapped that I ‘handled it’ because we won. Then he said “but you wanted me to gear up soooooooo bad”. Um what? I said I wasn’t doing arena with a scrub in pve blues, gearing up is mandatory. Anyway whatever.

So I went to raid with Relentless, and the amount of times I died was something else. I did something like 50% of the heals on Stone Guard, putting out 60k hps. The entire raid was bathing in damage and almost dead quite a bit of the fight. Their druid was bad, low healing and managed to die pretty much on every boss and trash. We wiped 2 times on the second boss. I told them I could 2 heal Garajal, but the shaman went DPS, who was the much stronger healer, and the druid was left to heal. Besides the healing troubles, there was at least 2 times that I went into the spirit totem alone, once the dps went in without a healer and died, another wipe because the tank was behind the barrier, etc etc. We were forced to three heal it because of the bad druid, who ended up, surprise, dying again.

We died to, or had to reset Spirit Kings a few times when people were goofing up, and the mage doing 30k dps died straight away to the easily avoidable floor aoe, then the spriest died. That fight took at least 2 attempts. Then we died something like 4x to the trash before Elegon. So, yeah I think that’s the last time I’ll heal with them. Nice guys but gosh.

Griefers in LFR

Tried LFR on my pally, won a belt and someone gave me dps shoulders later on, but that wasn’t the fun part.

During Fall of Deathwing there was a priest by the name of Healuranus from Stormrage who appeared to be trying to jump off the edge in Ultraxion.  I think I said something about it, not realizing what they were trying to do at the time.  During the boat I made a comment that priests are ‘douches’ which they told me to take back and I refused on the grounds that I have a priest.  And in pvp, I’m quite a bit of a jerk, no lie.  Nothing outside of skill mechanics, but tearing off pally wings, mage ice block, hero, pally bubble, MCIng people off edges, is all somewhat jerky,. but fun and it helps my team win. Anyway.

On Spine they demanded I ‘take it back’ and I said no make me, and they threatened to then throw me off the edge if I did not. I said no and go ahead what do I care.  Being dead and carried is ok with me.  He dragged me off the edge and I died.

Then continued on to threaten the other priest with being thrown off the edge if they didn’t hand over the crown token they won.  They did not so they were tossed over the side, only the priest was able to get back up and dragged Heal down, but he didn’t die either and got back up.  I was rezzed at some point and that priest threatened to throw the tanks to their deaths if I didn’t recant my bit about douche priests. I commented that it was difficult to take back a comment about a priest being a douche when said priest has shown without a doubt that they are an epic douchebag.

So, the tank was dragged to  his death.  We completed that fight anyway, but were unable to kick the guy when he started Madness when no one was ready, and dragged at least 2 other people off the edge before we wiped and kicked.  He was reported by some people and I did one.  It didn’t bother me per se, being carried dead to a kill is fine, but you shouldn’t be allowed to get away with that behavior.

Anyway we went on to wipe on Madness 3x before I gave up.

That priest for the record, had no glyphs, no enchants, was gemmed with green quality cata gems, no belt buckle, and ilevel 380.  I don’t think any random person I armory is ever geared correctly.

OMG LFR IS SERIOUS

So tried the LFR new raids, we got it down with a little trouble. I find it amusing that this junk JUST CAME OUT and people were already yelling fail tanks,  you idiots, etc etc.  IT JUST CAME OUT.  We’re not all Paragon or something who heroics raids on the PTR, or whatever! Geez.

Lots of fire!

Hm.  So I’ve been testing out shadow as an offspec since there are many complaints about healing priests, disc in particular. I won’t drop disc, but I want and need options for questing.  And MY GOSH questing is so much easier as shadow! That might sound like a no brainer, but it was reasonably easy to do until I hit 88.

Anyway the other day I was in TB with 4 other alliance, 2 of which were with me at ICG.  Holystab shows up and draws out a druid and I follow to help out.  He runs in ICG and starts msging me with

“Are you stupid
dumb ass stop attacking me
thats it your dead”

Well, hi?  It’s um, pvp, and I kill the opposite faction.

So I replied that was how I show love and what did he expect, a make out session?

“well you know me and my pvp friends we like to kill some alli  wanna be the first to die?”

At that point I said sure bring it, I mean boring TB is boring. I want some action.  Told him he was cute when he cries and come back and I’ll brush his hair (joke about blood elf hair).

“ROFL you kids don’t even know how to pvp you just run in numbers and get at me when you cant win 1v1”

Again, hi? You came solo to an unmatched fight.

“its sad how you think your good hiding in numbers, sorry hunny i’d rape you in 2 shots without your back up”

I told him I never said I was any good.  I just picked up shadow the other day.  Then I said I would be 4 shots at least.

“nope I have a 1 shot macro but i’d be a waste on you”

I asked, what if I beg, really hard?

“just a waste of my time to even touch you lul”

Told him he knows he wants to come try.

“you wish”

Then I said I appreciated him making the battle less boring.  This was after he showed up at WV with a holy priest and we rolled them both.

“ROFL SO BAD LUL god i’m laughing so hard at how ad you alli are, ha ha an 86 healer beat your dps, LOL”

There was more, but yeah.  Done talking to that guy, that was beyond rude.

HEALS SUCK OMG

Sometimes I wonder why you don’t see many pvp healers, but I guess if I used half a brain and thought about it, it would be pretty clear. There is the obvious like we get focused first, usually, and rarely does anyone “protect” or peel off you. In random battlegrounds this doesn’t bother me TOO terribly because I take it as a challenge to try to survive anyway. In persistent battlegrounds like WG/TB, it’s annoying because everyone should pay attention to their healers.

The additional insult is from random players who complain about not getting heals without paying attention to WHY they didn’t get heals. Was I the only healer? I can’t heal everyone across the entire map. Was I getting my ass pounded into the ground? Yeah I can’t really heal anyone else when I’m trying to not die. Was our dps not killing a fing thing? Yeah, these questions need to be answered.

Was in a random BG and in Twin Peaks. The other team had a prot warrior flag carrier with 4 healers. We had someone call out to focus the prot warrior and I said something about the feasibility of taking down a warrior with 4 heals.

This of course opened a whole can of worms discussing what an idiot I was, how I must never RBG, I’d never be accepted to his RBG team, blah blah terrible heals whatever. I was their only heals. The best comment however was:

“Nice mana heals, only 100k lawl”.

Then in Tol Barad the other day, a DK by the name of Deathbybean (think it’s that Meanbean guy) was yelling at everyone for not getting vehicles. The problem was, no one, NO ONE had even one HK so we couldn’t. It was that bad. Alliance had like 3 mages at every base with a healer. It was pathetic.

For no particular reason he started insulting me, saying I probably was a bad pvp healer, probably had no pvp gear, etc etc. I said I was fully pvp geared and well experienced in pvp, but I didn’t see how me healing was going to help dps who can’t kill crap for anything. Yes, it will keep you from dying but it’s not going to help you kill the enemy. AMIRIGHT?

It’s like when that horrible hunter named Kiya tried to kill my horde priest in WG, I kick her ever loving ass. But she gets a healer on her, she still can’t kill me but now she’s wasting all of our time getting heals.

We went back and forth arguing about this up until we lost the battle (predictable, the only HK I got was when I killed a mage myself) and I must have angered the guy because he took it to PMs. This is the fun I got, and I’m always up for an argument.

Him: how far did you get your junk down his throat LOL

Me: Maybe I do, so what? Jealous?

Him: not at all ha ha… its funny when people talk crap then ignore you haha, its always about getting the last word in i guess right? thats always mature

(because insulting your healers is mature)

Then I told him if I wanted to shit talk I’d be more than happy to do it directly, and said I healed my ass off at Slags but we killed no one. Then I got

Him: well then I apologize cause I want at slags

me: no worries

him: thats all you had to say you didnt have to be so defensive XD

Uh huh. See the aforementioned “if there is a healer in raid and I’m not getting heals they must be bad” comment. WE MIGHT NOT EVEN BE NEAR YOU.
