SEVEN MINUTE ABS!

No seriously though, 7 minute fights. I ran with a guild tank, because they were new, and we did that train dungeon.  We wiped some 5 times on the cannon boss, at one point exceeding 7 minutes just doing nothing but killing the adds.  We replaced most of the dps before getting it.

I’ve been leveling my holy paladin, and more than a few times I got stuff like this “why we need a healer?”WoWScrnShot_122914_200633

I’m on Sargeras which I guess is mostly Alliance but all I see is Horde, like in the case of this warrior who opened on me, who I beat to death.  As holy.

But maybe it’s because I look so good!

Anyway did a dungeon on my druid later in the day, and that went 7 minutes.  Fastest time, 2.  Sigh.  It’s all because dps don’t know what they are doing either. No more face rolling through stuff.

Doing Favors…

A hunter in my guild asked if anyone wanted to do normal Everbloom the other day.  No one replied but me, and may have been a sign.

We waited in queue for 10 minutes, then get the dungeon pop.  The DK tank is letting aggro go everywhere, I’m running around with mobs on me the entire time.  Then after the first pull he stands there for a long time, then starts spinning in circles.  I comment that I think we’re getting trolled, and someone replies “maybe you should look at the server”.  Uh oh.  Everyone but the hunter and I are in the same guild and then I hear “we’re all in the same room”.

I try to kick the DK and it says it can’t for 10 minutes.  The warrior says he will tank, does one pull and asks how he did.  I said fine but just pull less next time.  He said he didn’t pull extra, then stands there for at least 2 minutes.  We’ve been in the dungeon probably 10 minutes and only pulled 2 groups so I said I didn’t have time for that crap and left. The hunter, Aleon, follows me.  We queue again.

This time it goes ok if not amazingly slow, with Xeri’tac taking 6 minutes and 37 seconds to die.

Mind you, this is Normal mode.  We wipe once or twice just from disastrous pulls.

After a wipe just before the last boss, the hunter phases out.  We pull without him, wipe because ADDS again, and he’s still outside of the dungeon.  I asked where he is, no reply.  He gets kicked.   The time on the dungeon at this point is about 40 minutes.

He finally replies and says “I’m in the arena”.  I ask why he left, didn’t he need the dungeon?  He said yeah let’s do it. I explain I’m still IN the dungeon and asked what happened.  “I’m game too” he says “let’s do this”.  I’m totally confused and asked why he left early.  He said he didn’t mean to.  Well, I didn’t have time for another 45 minute dungeon run and logged.  This is why I usually just pug, I don’t feel I owe anyone a favor to put up with crap like that.

Yep, that’s a wipe.

Wiped on this boss 4 times, and replaced about 5 dps, until we finally got it.

I’ve been making sure to tell tanks, when they are doing well, also.

I’ve had a few who were excellent, tell me that their last group said they were squishy or stupid stuff like that.

And this chat just made me laugh.

DragonSoul is Not to Be

I wanted the Deep Earth set for my pve transmog, but trying anything on a monday is a horrible idea.  The first one we wiped on Morchok 2 times on 25m heroic and I was the only healer.  Then a priest went disc and did 10% of the healing.  I left that when it was clear everyone was undergeared, even for DS and not going anywhere.

Then I got in on a normal 25m spine run hoping to at least get in a group that made some progress.  Nope.  Wiped twice and left.

Wasn’t even worth it, clearly didn’t know what they were doing, and no one seemed to care one of the warriors didn’t seem remotely interested in getting to the raid.  Oh well.  Maybe tomorrow.

I know how to kite and such

I was watching guild chat today when a hunter asked for a carry in arena.  Someone asked if they meant to give carries, or by carried.  The hunter replied (only hunters I’m telling you):

“I cant do a lot of damage, but I know how to kite and such”

I’ve never been killed by a good kiting.  True story.

We had an e-peen contest, I guess, around that point, because the guy randomly threw out there that he had a “580 WW monk”.  That was when I said I had a prideful hunter.  I only said it because he said he hadn’t played a hunter in many months, you know, in case he had questions.   I’m like what’s your point, you got 580 by PVEing, we were talking about pvp. Then we got in a dumb discussion about what’s harder, PVE or PVP.  I think scripted fights are easier, personally.

The GM broke it up saying it’s a matter of opinion, and I said cool story bro, we were just talking.  Damn.  Then he started on how playing a hunter is “easy” and DKs are “easy” and everything is “easy”.  I’m going to go ahead and say he’s a baddie then.  I know two kinds of people that say everything is easy.  The elite ones where everything truly IS easy, and the bads just doing it wrong.

I rather despise people expecting a carry in whatever it is, who then also won’t STFU about how bad they are probably going to be.

The irony is, I armoried’d him and found an old post naming all of Frostrated/Juntoko/DKMohawk’s alts, and Hunar was listed.  So, I think it’s the same guy.  Ha.
