Queued, please wait? Since when?

Logged in and I still have zero add ons and not even the add ons tab.  I try to queue for WG and it says something about how I’ve been queued and please wait, which I’ve never seen before.  When the battle starts it gives me the please wait again.  I dequeued and queued again, same thing please wait.  I went to the WG npc and tried to queue, and please wait.

Well, that guy won’t let me queue so I run off the fly there, only 2 mins in the Horde already has 5 vehicles, already has 2 walls down.  Rexe pm’s me and asks if the battle is going on and I say yes but the queue isn’t working and he says he’s “OMW”.  Shortly after they take the fort since we had roughly 10 people in raid.  Total, BS.

There is some discussion in trade about who makes Goblin Rocket Fuel and, thanks to Arashikage who gave me the recipe, I link it from Alchemy.  Apparently there is none on the AH, so I take the required Fireblooms out of my bank, then head to Stranglethorn Vale to farm the Volative Rum needed to make it.

the drop rate is abysmal, I killed at least 20 mobs with nothing.  I get around 3 after switching to the other beach area but that still takes around 30 mobs. Ugh.  It’s like farming in L2 again.

I notice one of the rifts out here, for  some reason, and iI see a Bloodsail Swashbuckler start attacking the mobs.  Kind of funny!  I have to AOE the mobs to kill them all at once to break the rift.

which then leaves behind a Mysterious Device.  After farming the booze for a while, I head back to SW and see it’s selling for 1g per, which totally isn’t worth it.  Upset at my add ons I delete all the add ons and reload everything, and now everything is happy again and loading.  And Quartz is remembering where I saved it last.  Awesome!

Now that WG has been made even on both sides now, no one will have tenacity any more.  To prove this I kill a blood elf paladin named Sevuf (ooh, another handsome red head)  and shortly after, a horde priest whose name I did not catch, solo.

I get myself killed multiple times making stabs at breaking down their vehicles, disc spec or no, and healing up other Alliance.  East is a bad place to be and I die oh, many times.  I mention this horde death pit in raid.

Unfortunately even though I said East was a bad place to go, Alliance rolls several sieges through there which are busted up by all the horde I said were there, and the breach clear through to the inner CY from west that someone else announced, is totally ignored and we LOSE.  I foresee us losing a lot.

Later I run my dungeon which is CoS, AGAIN.

Horde spies?

Today I log in and no friends are on, and only 2 in guild. I run WG and we defend it and win, however we have what was probably a horde spy yelling out invalid incomings and incorrect breaches. I wonder if you can report for that. A few people are being negative saying we’re going to lose, but I point out we’re doing just fine. People that don’t do this often should keep quiet.

I get on again later and run WG again, find Rexe this time, and we win. Nothing too eventful other than I’m finding I need to heal like I’m in Lineage 2 again, which means casting a heal before damage is even incoming in the hopes that the person may survive the next strike. It is difficult this time to out-heal the damage horde is putting out.

Half of the guild is in the ICC 25 that started too early for me to join, so I pick my daily dungeon and end up with CoS, which is boring me to tears by this point. The paladin tank is very slow and the DK seems to be tanking for him. I think back to when items in here were upgrades for me, and wonder if it’ll be like that come Cata. Obviously that is a dumb question because it will be like that, but it feels like ages since I needed anything from a 5 man dungeon.

Kind of bored I queue up for some BGs and get Arathi. We lose massively, destroyed all the way back to Trollbane and can’t even leave. Sigh. I wish I had an add on that would tell me how terribly out geared we are compared to the other team.

Next one is IoC and we lose terribly again. I get sapped at the docks and another priest shields me and then starts spamming Holy Nova trying to knock the rogue out of stealth. I thought only I did that. I was about to thank them when the battle rudely ended with our loss.

Last one is a Strand and at the beginning someone is calling out orders. We capture the titan relic, then the horde does, and they win. I really don’t get this bg. I have top honor for our side. Bored, I log out.

Fing Tenacity

I log in for the last 2 bosses for ICC 25, but WG is up in 5 so I ask if it’s ok to run that.  Yes.  I fight against a warlock for a few minutes, and a rogue assists me, but he kills us both.  Fing tenacity.  I also dislike non healing classes that can heal themselves, that seems to be unfair.   Anyway I run into Rexe as per usual 🙂

We win and I get my 100 wins and earn Wintergrasp Veteran achievement.

We start ICC up and once again on Sindragosa, some people need the fight explained.  I’m sorry but this late in the expansion, if you don’t know the fights, go watch a tankspot video, read up on it on wowhead, something.  There is no excuse for not knowing fights that are 6+ months old. None.  We wipe on the first air phase immediately when the ice blocks come out since someone didn’t run down the stairs, and it’s painfully obvious who because of the symbols placed on everyone.  Besides that we had several people die in first phase.

Second run, was also a wipe. The fail rogue from last night, is busy being fail again tonight as well, and explains his dps isn’t that high because he’s trying not to wipe us.  Of course that angry’s up the blood because his fail is wiping an entire raid.  Why he was invited back I don’t know.  This fight is aggravating  because it just takes one person to hose the entire raid.

Third run we got to the third phase, and I survived the wipe.  It’s pointed out the fail rogue is wearing mostly pvp gear. sigh.  We fail again at last phase the 4th time, but I survive again due to someone getting me in their ice block.   Everyone starts discussing blame and someone says “Roll for blame” and I LOL for real on that. Next go I die in an ice tomb, even throwing a renew on myself before it hit.  Well, at least I don’t have to do much dead. Dying gives one good picture opportunities though.   After that point though I lose track of the wipes.  We get it finally and I get Exalted with Ashen and get my new ring. I was dead through that, however, died at like 100k health on the boss.

The LK run went slightly better than last time, and we got into the Defile stages but after 2 attempts people said they had to go.

They talked about reforming for 10 man and said to stay in raid if you wanted to go, which I did, only I was kicked or disbanded and not needed.  Sigh.  I’m destined to never get that title, EVER.  Maice on Nilvana promises he’ll get it for me though.  No pressure, man 😀

Turns out the reformed 10 man got the LK kill sometime within the hour after the 25 man broke up.  So depressing!  I only seem to get into the fail runs, over and over, never the ones that get it.

Wrathful

I need a few hundred honor more for another Wrathful piece, so I run EotS which we lose like always, then WSG which was a decent run but we lost.  I still don’t understand why people can see someone sapped, especially a healer, and just run away.  I’ve also experienced a decent amount of people, usually DK’s, that are fighting a horde with me assisting on heals, then they bail as the horde turns to me and just run away.  That, sucks.

After that I get another Strand, and earn Ancient Courtyard Protector achievement, and we win!  I have enough honor for my Wrathful Satin robe now, and I was going to replace that last but there’s nothing stopping me from just saving the pretty Relentless so I went with the robe upgrade.

Going to try to keep the graphics quality up too but I have to turn it down in some raids, especially Marrowgar because it makes it next to impossible to move.

I run a few more BGs and try to take some action screenshots but as in all games making pretty pvp shots makes your skills suffer greatly.  Here is me getting whomped in Strand by some orc brute

I fraps’d part of an Ancients battle but the way I pvp is not very pretty, both using raid frames and health bars to heal, so either it looks awful to watch or hiding the bars, I don’t heal so well. That or it’s zoomed out too far to be very pretty.

There’s been no one on in guild all morning, no friends on. I log out.

The ICC 25 this time takes only an hour to get together, and we start off trying Marrowgar on heroic.  This will be my first time on 25 heroic anything besides Gunship.   Some tards pull him right away and wipe it. Then on the way back in, someone triggers a trap.  The bear tank starts arguing about how it should be done, in addition to being annoying with an add on that tells everyone what they did wrong or how they died.

I die on the second attempt on a bone spike no one was killing. Then the bear tank pulls trash when no one is ready and quite a few people die. Sigh. Then the fail bear tank says he forgot his girlfriend was coming over, and had to leave.  There was much mocking of that needless to say.  Prior to all this I am discussing gear with Nilvana/Maice and I say I still have a 245 ring. I lose the roll on the ring from Marrowgar, but then win Ring of Maddening Whispers from Deathwhisper, which was probably better for me anyway.

Flipping to heroic gunship resets trash, again. Annoying.  I do not win the roll for the mark off Saurfang, but Nilvana/Maice gives me his winning one. WOO! Now I can upgrade my robe to sanct, two ugrades in one night, SWEET.

It seems most people don’t listen to loot rules when it’s one main spec need, and they win something, then immediately roll need on something else too. They say it applies per wing but with 25 people if someone hasn’t won something, that seems unfair to someone who has won, so I do not roll on Trauma. I do roll on Holiday’s Grace however but don’t win.

We get down Putricide and I get 25 Plagueworks.

Then on Blood Queen, people can’t seem to handle the biting and we wipe, then the second try some stupid dps bites me, and I bite someone but the rest get MC’d and we wipe again. And again, and again.

We did get her down with most of everyone dead, though I stayed up with another healer, one tank, and a few dps. Got the 25 man achievement there too. And won another mark!  Gonna be using up all my gems tonight looks like.

We also get down Dreamwalker so there is another achievement. I go get my gloves, upgrade to sanct, then upgrade my robe too. Place the gems and enchants, and it’s late as well so I GO TO BED!

I loot yer bones!

This morning I transmute a Skyflare Diamond, then grab my herb bag to go herb-ing. I head out to WG to pick herbs and then start up on the battle.

Near the end of it I run into a BE Paladin named Chillbrosy (prot/holy) just sitting on a mammoth doing nothing, so I take this as an opening to toss a Penance, Holy Fire, and start smiting. At half health he wakes up and starts attacking back, and we start dancing around each other making little progress since he appears to be on holy spec and any damage either of us do we just heal up.  A little later another Alliance joins in on the fight, then 3-4 others and we finally get the guy down. /kiss!

As I’m still out there herbing I start getting irritated at the “such and such is under attack” that keeps spamming the area. I head to Westpark and there is a damn horde rogue attacking MY NPCS!  I kill her!  And loot her bones!

I then run into another BE rogue who was fishing named Bayler, and Penance, Holy Fire Smite Smite Smite until he uses some rogue trickery to dive in the water and hide. He comes out later and I /wave

Handsome devil! Of course when he gets too close to me in the air and starts jockeying around I sniff trouble coming up and swoop higher, than watch him land, dismount and vanish.  Yes, you rogues are trouble and I like it XD

I create some elixirs and send them to Stout, then create some Flasks and post those on the Auction House.   On the way to the bank I pick up the quests from Erunak Stonespeaker for Stormwind Keep and trips to Ironforge.  On a non porting class, sigh. I head to the tram.

while running around there WG comes up, but we lose it thanks to them throwing way way too many vehicles at us. I go back to the fort and spit on them.  I then run a WSG which starts out promising but we lose when one of the dumb people with the flag runs away from everyone, and I cannot outheal him seeing that he has 4 horde beating him to death. We lose. ugh.

Later I get into WG with 3 mins to go, and we’re just getting our asses handed to us.  I watch a horde hunter 1-2 shot everyone within reach, including myself, through bubbles and everything.  We only had about 12 people there but they must have had insane tenacity.  Ugh.

I run a AV after and we win.  I had to ask Plewps to explain that BG to me, since I never really liked it or got how it functioned.  The next run I can’t find anyone to heal and we lose.  Not because of that, but it was fruitless on my part.

I run my daily which is CoS, after which I  get in on a VOA 10 that didn’t start, I can’t find a weekly run, I go PVP again.  I get AV again, run into the boss room at the last second, Divine Hymn everyone through it and we win. After that is a Isle of Conquest and we get raped, like no dinner no movie raped.  With both hands.  That sounds awful doesn’t it? But it wasn’t pretty.  Next up is AV, AGAIN. We lose suddenly for whatever reason.

I get in on a weekly finally which is in Naxxramas, an easy one. Noth the Plaguebringer.

After that I ran a quick WG and we won. I think I’ve had enough for today.
