Mr. Terrible’s Power leveling Service

I found this strategy on Wowhead, but noting workflow mostly for myself.

WoWScrnShot_010615_123524

1) Low level pet, can even be level 1

2) Emperor Crab (P/P) or something with Whirlpool, Surge, and Healing Wave.

3) Nexus Whelpling, Frost Breath, Mana Surge, Arcane Storm.

Things of note.  Surge will always  before Mr. Terrible moves.  Healing wave will not.

Step one: Carry pet comes in.  Gets hit, swap out.  Bring in second crab pet.

Surge.

Ask the questions per round:

Does he have Spiked Skin?

No, Surge

repeat until he does Spiked Skin.

Does he have spiked skin, but you have more than 70 health?

Surge.

Does Mr. Terrible have less than 800 health?

Whirlpool then…

If he doesn’t have Spiked Skin, Surge, then Healing Wave.

If he does have Spiked Skin, pass, then Healing Wave.

Whirlpool hits, Surge once more as required.

If he’s STILL alive at that point, Whirlpool again, and repeat  last whirlpool pattern.

(Try to end this fight with at least 500 health)

Carroteye comes out.

Surge

Surge

Healing Wave if it’s up, otherwise Surge until dead. With luck the carrot will be almost dead.

If the Carrot isn’t less than 1k health before the crab dies, forfeit.

Bring out Nexus Whelp, Frost Breath if Carrot is under 500 health, otherwise Arcane Storm and Mana Surge.

Sloppus comes out.  Either continue 2 more mana surges from prior round, or Arcane Storm, and Mana Surge.  Frost breath to end it if needed.

And after all that, even THEN sometimes it fails.  Pet battles can make me so mad. A crit, or a string of misses on the last pet and you’re done.

SEVEN MINUTE ABS!

No seriously though, 7 minute fights. I ran with a guild tank, because they were new, and we did that train dungeon.  We wiped some 5 times on the cannon boss, at one point exceeding 7 minutes just doing nothing but killing the adds.  We replaced most of the dps before getting it.

I’ve been leveling my holy paladin, and more than a few times I got stuff like this “why we need a healer?”WoWScrnShot_122914_200633

I’m on Sargeras which I guess is mostly Alliance but all I see is Horde, like in the case of this warrior who opened on me, who I beat to death.  As holy.

But maybe it’s because I look so good!

WoWScrnShot_123014_153535

Anyway did a dungeon on my druid later in the day, and that went 7 minutes.  Fastest time, 2.  Sigh.  It’s all because dps don’t know what they are doing either. No more face rolling through stuff.

Y U Always Jump?

On the other hand, a paladin with the glyphed version of consecration, kept that annoying disc priest from kiling the Westfall npcs for a while.  I have to wait for her to flag to do anything, he can just spam that and prevent her from doing much of anything without actively waiting for a target.

Spent time, on Timeless Isle trying to farm the rare pets, but didn’t see Garnia up not once.  Got a new moth though.

WoWScrnShot_122614_122408

There have been several fights lately where pets with a lot of defensive’s, such as moths, and rabbits, have been extremely useful.  Dodge and burrow for instant, are golden for undead fights.  Damn double turn racial.

“They chose death”

I watch World Defense so much I often know what is happening at locations before I even get there.  Spam like this means someone is attacking the Alliance airship.

WoWScrnShot_122314_094022

I killed this warlock, then a warrior, who managed to leap off the side… and half a second later died to my bleeds, and got to watch his corpse fall nearly a thousand yards to the ground.

WoWScrnShot_122314_161940

The warlock came back, with the warrior, and both chose to bail off the side before dying to me again.

An amused monk commented “they chose death, lol”, speaking of their death leaps.

Spam at Nijel’s Point is USUALLY lower level Horde not knowing they are heading into an Alliance camp.  I usually just CC them until they get the point and leave.

Halaa these days seems to be just PVErs trying to get the mount.   I miss the Thunderhorn people fighting just to fight.

WoWScrnShot_122314_165517

This guy was fun too.  Killed him at Honor Hold, and he tried to fly off.  I hit him with a moonfire as he left, and decided to follow.  Rather unwisely he tried to drop flight form and TRIED to instantly fly again.  Either he borked that up, or my moonfire prevented it, I am not sure, but he crashed to his death on the ground.  I couldn’t help but laugh.

And Stay OUT!

These 2 fool DK’s were smashing the Harborage for such a long time I had to come put an end to it.

WoWScrnShot_122214_144852

I killed one, who did not release, then killed the other.  Came back to the first, who still hadn’t released, spit on him, then chewed up the level 70 that had been prancing around with them.  One of the DKs tried to mass rez the other but I wasn’t letting that happen.

WoWScrnShot_122214_145047

And let out my usual roar of “and stay out!”
