Weirdest Rage Tell Thus Far

A level 97 rogue was killing npcs in Honor Hold, and then harassing people at the towers.  I went feral to try to deal with it but he kept bouncing around on his flying mount, only landing long enough to see someone make a move and then flying off.  Ok well whatever.  All I could do is drop a moonfire or two.

Then I got a random rage-tell from an alliance hunter basically “ha ha damn all you 100’s can’t get me LOL so sad HA HA HA”.

I dropped a MOLL-E and shot off an email expressing confusion over gloating about running non-stop.  You can’t really get over on someone by flying around in the air.

Then got into an argument with a stupid hunter who rage-quit the raid in Ashran because he didn’t like “the leader”.

and people love my world defending at times.

Rogue Rolodex

I ran into a new friend, another rogue named Stardancer, on Sargeras on my paladin.  Someone was looking for help with some rares, and I joined in.  We cleared a bunch in Spires of Arak and did some quests, and parted ways.

Only the next day, what do you know, ran into the same rogue again.

Grouped up again, and got called “cute” because I did a Lay on Hands when he was almost dead.  Added a friend after that.  Then today, ran into them randomly out in Nagrand, shortly before I hit 100.

One thing about Sargeras though.  It’s a pvp server, only it doesn’t appear that Alliance want to pvp.  Horde can be attacking a town, like here:

And it’s just “stop crying” and “who cares”.  Weird.

Then I also have Kuraha – Ghostlands, who I met back on my priest in Outlands, who figured out that we can cross our servers again by going to dead places, like Molten Front in Hyjal.  We use to see each other almost everywhere but now our servers don’t phase anywhere but obscure areas.  I really don’t get CRZ sometimes.

You made me bleed my own blood!

Once in a while I run into a player I try so hard to beat, I end up moving talents around or even changing keybinds.  I ran into two shaman the other day like this.  I can’t remember the first persons name, but it was out in Darnassus.  Even when I engaged them, with all my CDs up, I could not kill them.  We fought for about 5 minutes until I went OOM (as feral!!!) and I had to run away.

I spec’d incarnation since I was using treants for the people that like to run from me, and tried again.  At one point I hit him while he was at half health from all the guards.  NOPE.  Still couldn’t do it.  I even had to move Skull Bash to a key I could hit faster to try to cut down on the quick heals they were able to do.  I was doing like 22k fero bites, on a crit, even perfectly set up.  It was frustrating.

Then later I ran into THIS guy repeatedly.

I did get one kill, but it was so insanely ridiculous to do so, that I btagged them and said “I give up”.  Here’s me giving up.

World pvp can be a mixed bag because you are allowed to use any number of crazy items during it.  Gliders, those wings that let you escape combat for miles, nets, bombs, shields, mind control devices, etc.  Can’t always tell what they just did, either.

Sad, Strange Little Man

So I was out in Spires of Arak, enjoying the quests out there again.  Reshad and his pet Percy in particular have some enjoyable dialog.

Now, earlier in Veil Terrok, 4-5 Horde were killing every Alliance that happened to come around.  There is no “Horde is attacking” messages because the npcs are all neutral, and therefore no guards.  I got killed a few times by the level 100 mage, hunter, druid, rogue, and warrior before I decided to go somewhere else.

I later came back and headed into Admiral Taylors Garrison.  While dancing around a rare I found there, I found myself OMFGPWNED by an 8 (or so) boxing group of hunters and shamans.  I’m guessing about 4 of each.  I sarcastically comment in general that “wow, so it takes like 300 pets to kill me I guess”.

I then get a PM from a rogue, something along the lines of “I could solo you bitch, STFU”. It takes about 2 seconds to realize this is the Alliance character, of the bot-train of horde characters.  I tried to get a screenshot of the pile of health bars rolling past me but I wasn’t quick enough.

I’m not unfamiliar with people boxing a ton of characters, I’ve seen 40 or close to 40 of them in Alterac Valley, 5+ in Halaa, and such, but I’ve never quite seen a situation like this.  So this person not only bots (yes I said bots, it’s botting, deal with it) but they ALSO keep an Alliance toon in the area, to read all the Alliance raging his shenanigans causes.

And then apparently rages at the people that complain.  Now mind you I haven’t been on a pvp server all that much, but I did play on Mal’ganis (HEAVILY horde dominated)  for a few weeks or so, and Tichondrius for a while, but I’ve never seen this exact situation.  This person continued to imply that I was a baddie, and that he could 1v1 me, but was apparently content to put some 8 level 100’s on lower levels instead.

Needless to say I said some bad words and may or may not have called him/her a ‘bundle of sticks’.
